On a small island far from civilization sits Wattsworth, the ancestral home of a reclusive Inventor family. The secrets hidden within its passageways have long been forgotten, but on the eve of the year 3000, Helena Wattson - middle child and black sheep of the family - will discover far more than anyone thought possible.
Society is still recovering from the Digital Wars. Families are grouped by trade and few can break out of that mold to become anything else. Helena knows this all too well. The Awards
Book Two of the series Project Awakening finds Helena Wattson in a foreign city, Leone, with no one besides her secretive family of Inventors to turn to. As they prepare to present in the coveted Awards ceremony at year's end, Helena is on her own to complete the Wattsworth Map project without letting anyone on the Council know what she's up to. But navigating the new environ of Leone isn't her own problem. Helena discovers a secret that forces her to choose between her family's aspirations for Laureateship and Viktor's future.

The Awakening
The Awards have ended but the fight to save their world has only just begun. Helena and Viktor are thrown together as they fight against the Council's plans to harness Project Awakening once and for all. Their path takes them into the unknown world of storms and ice outside of Leone, searching out the truth behind Viktor's past and looking for help in stopping the other Inventors.
